Conversational English

Every Blacklane driver partner, whether you work independently or are part of a service provider, must be able to speak English. This is not only to communicate with passengers but also to understand us! Blacklane’s business language is English.

The right documents

This differs from city to city, but generally we need:

  • For the Company
    • Business Registration
    • Commercial Insurance
    • Operating Permit for Professional Driver Services
  • For the Driver(s)
    • Driver’s License
    • Chauffeur License
  • For the Vehicle(s)
    • Vehicle Registration
    • Whole vehicle showing the license plate (photo)
    • Vehicle Liability Insurance
    • Vehicle Maintenance Records

The right vehicle

This varies from country to country. To check which cars are accepted in each Blacklane business district, visit www.blacklane.com/en/partners, select “BECOME A PARTNER,” choose your city, and scroll down to see the suggested vehicles.

Experience and training

To partner with Blacklane you need to:

  • Be at least 25 years old.
  • Have at least one year’s experience driving in your city as a professional driver.
  • Have completed training on safe driving.
  • Be first-aid certified.
