A guide to Brussels Airport (BRU) lounges

It’s easy to see why Brussels Airport is so popular. Not only is it centrally located, but it also offers connecting rail services to points all over western Europe.

The airport, located about 7.5 miles from the center of Brussels, is the headquarters for Brussels Airlines. There are two departure piers at Brussels Airport, with Pier A handling flights to and from EU countries and Pier B handling flights outside of that region.

Diamond Lounges – work and relax between flights

There are two Diamond Lounges at Brussels Airport. The first is located on Pier A, opposite gate A42. The second is located on Pier B and is accessible via stairs opposite gates B01-B05. Both lounges feature a variety of food selections as well as complimentary hot and chilled beverages. Amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers and magazines, charging stations for your electronic devices, and flight assistance. The lounge in Pier B also has shower rooms.

The Diamond lounges are available for a 32 EUR (USD 36) entrance fee. Children younger than 12 are admitted free. In addition, passengers of some airlines listed on signs outside each of the lounges can also receive free entrance. You can purchase your entrance free in advance via the lounge’s website. Tip: If you aren’t able to use it this trip, the fee is valid for one year from the day of purchase.

The Diamond Lounge on Pier A is open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. The Diamond Lounge on Pier B is open from 5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

Brussels Airlines Sunrise Lounge – a friendly oasis

Brussels Airlines Sunrise Lounge is located at the end of Pier A. The lounge offers comfortable seating, work areas, printing services, flight assistance, complimentary newspapers and magazines, food and beverage service, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Admission to this lounge is offered to Brussels Airlines and Star Alliance first-class and business-class passengers as well as members of Brussels Airlines frequent traveler program with a same-day boarding pass. Flex&Fast/Flex passengers can enter for a 29EUR (USD 33) fee, payable only via credit/debit card. HON Circle, Senator, and Star Alliance members can also bring a companion to the lounge at no extra charge.

The Brussels Airlines Sunrise Lounge is open daily between 8:00 a.m. and midnight.

The Loft by Brussels Airlines – a 2019 best airport lounge finalist

Located on Pier A across from Gate A42, The Loft is a peaceful oasis, offering a quiet place between flights. In addition to a variety of complimentary snacks and beverages on offer, amenities at The Loft include a business area, massage chairs, as well as complimentary Wi-Fi. There are five private nap rooms and six shower rooms as well as a VIP room for HON Circle members of Brussels Airlines’ frequent traveler program.

Admission to this lounge is offered to Brussels Airlines and Star Alliance first-class and business-class passengers as well as members of Brussels Airlines’ frequent traveler program with a same-day boarding pass. The entrance fee is 29 EUR (USD 33), payable only via credit or debit card, for Flex&Fast/Flex passengers. HON Circle, Senator and Star Alliance members are allowed to bring a companion in the lounge at no extra charge.

The Loft by Brussels Airlines is a finalist for the 2019 World Travel Awards for “Europe’s Leading Airport Lounge”.

The Loft by Brussels Airlines is open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

The Suite by Brussels Airlines – a quiet place to work between flights

Brussels Airlines’ The Suite is located in Pier B, at the end of the lounge corridor, accessible via the stairs opposite Gate B1 and B15. This lounge offers food and beverage service as well as complimentary newspapers, magazines, and Wi-Fi. There are also quiet workstations with desktop computers for guest use.

Admission to this lounge is offered to Brussels Airlines and Star Alliance first-class and business-class passengers as well as members of Brussels Airlines frequent traveler program with a same-day boarding pass. The entrance fee is 25EUR (USD 33) for Flex&Fast/Flex passengers, payable only via credit/debit card. HON Circle, Senator, and Star Alliance members are permitted to bring a companion in the lounge at no extra charge.

The Suite by Brussels Airlines is open from 5:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. daily.

British Airways Galleries Club Lounge – a perk for BA passengers

Admission to the British Airways Galleries Club Lounge at Brussels Airport is available free to passengers with a British Airways or Qatar Airlines first-class or business-class boarding pass as well as silver or gold members of British Airways’ Executive Club frequent traveler program.

The lounge, which is located inside the security checkpoint in Terminal B, features complimentary business services, food and beverages, Wi-Fi and newspapers.

The British Airways Galleries Club Lounge is open from 6:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
