Two and a half years ago, we were hit hard by Covid-19. However, instead of giving up, we excelled and outdid ourselves, seeing unprecedented growth in popularity over the recent months. The Blacklane Crew spent the past year breaking new ground in our industry by going the extra mile to continually improve our world-class service. Record numbers, record growth, and record profitability are the outcome of the hard work that all of us have put into Blacklane.

Business Travel Awards Europe
In September we won the prestigious Business Travel Awards Europe for Best Transportation Network Carrier.

The coveted awards are judged by a unique panel of the best names and most accomplished leaders from the global travel industry.
From design to marketing to services, the Travel Weekly Magellan Awards honors the best in travel and salutes the outstanding travel professionals behind it all.
We are proud to share that we won the ‘Best on the Road‘ award at the 2022 Travolution Awards in November.
Travolution was established in 2004 as the pioneering online travel technology B2B media, offering expert insights into the industry. The Travolution Awards have since become the ultimate recognition for companies in the online travel sector in the UK and beyond.
Each year the judging panel of industry experts pours through hundreds of entries from travel brands, technology developers and digital services suppliers. Aside from evidence of success, the judges look for innovation and creativity required to drive the travel industry forward into the modern digital era.
The ‘Best on the Road’ award is given to the car-hire company, transfers or aggregator that best demonstrates its expertise and success in the ground transportation sector. Judges look for the website or mobile app that stands out from the crowd in its approach and excels in providing the customer with exactly what they want.
Blacklane was awarded the prize for advancements in client-facing technology, a smart pricing system, features enhancing the corporate traveler experience, and securing the trust of several major partners.
With two QSi Awards, we rounded out 2022 with honor. Established in 2013, the QSi Awards are the benchmark for excellence in the Private Hire, Chauffeur, and Taxi industry. Gold, silver, and bronze awards are presented each year to the UK’s best companies and drivers.
Blacklane received Silver for ‘Chauffeur Company of the Year‘, an award that recognizes the company’s overall performance in the UK.
This was a tough category, where ‘Quality’ and ‘Service’ are a given – so it’s often down to ‘Innovation’ to decide the medals. As a global giant, Blacklane’s comprehensive list of innovations includes an electric chauffeur fleet, chauffeur hailing via an app, and especially, intercity journeys that compete with train travel on price and convenience.
Blacklane won a Bronze award for “Business Diversification” which recognizes the different types of chauffeur services it has created since the pandemic. These services include long-distance trips, fixed-price journeys, the ability to book through an app and and a dedicated electric car service.
This award was introduced last year to recognize new business development initiatives during the pandemic. Covid certainly made these initiatives more important as a way of keeping drivers working when regular business had disappeared.
While severely affected by the pandemic, our route to recovery was through innovation and creative thinking, launching a host of new services. Now we are bouncing back stronger than ever.
