If you’re headed to this airport soon, you’re in for a treat. There are numerous, comfortable Abu Dhabi Airport (AUH) lounges to while away a few hours.

Approximately 20 million passengers traverse Abu Dhabi International Airport (AUH) each year, which is located about 16 miles east of Abu Dhabi City, to connect to destinations throughout the Middle East, Asia, and Europe.

One of the best ways to spend your time between flights at AUH is to enjoy the amenities and peaceful atmosphere of one of its many Abu Dhabi Airport lounges.

Al Reem Lounge: a peaceful oasis complete with a nail salon

Located in Terminal 1, the Al Reem Lounge is a peaceful and stylish place to spend your time between flights, with marble floors, sparkling chandeliers, and comfortable seating. The lounge also features a variety of Arabic, Asian and continental food selections and beverages. Snacks are available 24-hours, along with showers and changing stations. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers and magazines, charging stations for your electronic devices, and flight assistance. You can even get a manicure or pedicure in the lounge between flights.

Complimentary admission to the Al Reem lounge is available to Priority Pass holders and select Diners Club and American Express card members. Otherwise, guests can purchase a two-hour admission for AED 173.25 (USD 47.00) or a five-hour admission for AED 288.75 (USD 79.00).

Al Dhabi Lounge: make some time for yourself

The Al Dhabi Lounge is also located in Terminal 1 at Abu Dhabi International Airport. This lounge offers a variety of food and beverages, including snacks available day and night. There are also shower facilities, charging stations for your electronic devices, a flight assistance desk, and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Complimentary admission to the Al Dhabi lounge is available to those flying first-class and business-class on any airline except for Etihad as well as Priority Pass holders and select Diners Club and American Express card members. Others can purchase a two-hour admission for AED 210 (USD 57.00) or a five-hour admission for AED 367.50 (USD 100.00).

Etihad Premium: a business-class lounge in Abu Dhabi Airport

Located in Terminal 1, Etihad Premium Lounge offers an international buffet, coffee stations, and a bar. There is also a play area for kids with a nanny on duty. Other features include complimentary Wi-Fi, a smoking room, bathrooms with showers, baby changing facilities, and clothes pressing service. Admission to Etihad Premium Lounge in Terminal 1 is limited to Etihad Airways business-class passengers and those traveling in business class on an Etihad Airways partner airline.

Etihad Lounges in Terminal 3: first-class service and amenities

Etihad Airways has three Abu Dhabi Airport lounges in Terminal 3. The Etihad First Class Lounge & Spa offers services and hospitality similar to what you’d find in a five-star hotel. This includes a dining room, a snack bar, and a cocktail lounge as well as a full spa with complimentary services, such as massages and facials. There’s also a play area for young guests and a gym. Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers and magazines, a smoking room, bathrooms with showers, and clothes pressing service.

Admission to the Etihad First Class Lounge & Spa is limited to Etihad Airways first-class passengers, Etihad Airways Guest Platinum members, eligible passengers flying on one of Etihad Airways’ partner airlines, and guests of The Residence, an upscale apartment hotel in Abu Dhabi.

The Etihad Premium Lounge in Terminal 3 is open to Etihad Airways business-class passengers and those traveling in business class on Etihad Airways partner airlines. This lounge features all-day dining at its international buffet and snack bar, spa services for a small fee, a children’s play area, a business center with complimentary Wi-Fi, bathrooms with showers, a smoking room, and clothes pressing service.

The Etihad U.S. Premium lounge is located inside the U.S. immigration and customs area in Terminal 3 and is open to all Etihad first-class and business-class passengers traveling from Abu Dhabi to the United States as well as those flying fir-class and business-class on an Etihad partner airline to the U.S. This lounge features comfortable seating, light meals and snacks, a prayer room and complimentary Wi-Fi.

Etihad Arrivals Lounge: a place to freshen up before you head to the city

Sometimes it’s nice to freshen up and change clothes after arriving from a long overseas flight, and the Etihad Arrivals lounge has been designed for just this occasion. Available to all Etihad Airways first-class and business-class passengers, this lounge is in the Arrivals Hall, just past customs. The lounge features light meals and snacks, beverage service, shower facilities, clothes pressing service, plus a business center with complimentary Wi-Fi.

The Etihad Arrivals Lounge is open 24 hours a day.
