A Guide to Singapore Changi Airport (SIN) Lounges

Singapore’s Changi Airport (SIN), located about 12 miles from the city center, is one of the largest transportation hubs in Southeast Asia, offering flights to destinations all over the globe. In March, Changi Airport was awarded Skytrax’s prestigious “World’s Best Airport” title for the seventh consecutive year.

One of the best ways to spend your time between flights at SIN is to relax in one of the six Singapore International Airport lounges on offer. These peaceful Singapore Changi airport lounges offer quiet places to get work done, relax, or grab a bite to eat before your flight.

Plaza Premium Lounge – a large and comfortable oasis

The Plaza Premium Lounge at Changi Airport is located on level 3 of Terminal 1, in the Departure Transit Hall above Gate C1 and is the only pay-per-use lounge in Terminal 1. This 7,000-square-foot lounge features a variety of food selections, such as noodles, sushi, and laksa as well as complimentary hot and chilled beverages. There are also showers, one of which is wheelchair accessible and changing stations and ample power outlets as well as affordable private resting suites.

Other amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, complimentary newspapers and magazines, charging stations for your electronic devices and flight assistance. You can even get a manicure or pedicure in the lounge between flights.

Admission to the lounge area of the Plaza Premium Lounge is SGD 87.30 (USD 68) for five hours and SGD 175.50 (USD 136) for ten hours, more if you’d like to have a shower while you’re there. Children aged two to 11 receive a 50 percent discount and children younger than two enter free. Priority Pass members receive free admission. There are additional fees for the shower rooms and the resting suites.

The Plaza Premium Lounge is open 24 hours a day. No advance reservations are necessary.

Ambassador Transit Lounges – fit in a workout

There are two Ambassador Transit Lounges at Changi Airport. One is located in Terminal 2 on level 3 in the Departure Transit Hall, above Orchid Garden. The other is located in Terminal 3 on level 3 in the Departure Transit Hall, next to the movie theater. Both lounges offer relaxing, comfortable seating and work areas, printing services, a work-out area, shower facilities, beauty and massage services, and private napping suites. The lounge in Terminal 3 also offers private meeting rooms.

Five hours use of either of the Ambassador Transit Lounges is S$58.85 (USD 43.50) per adult and S$29.43 (USD 22.00) per child aged two to 11. Children younger than the age of two are admitted free of charge. Priority Pass members receive free admission. Admission to the shower area, the nap rooms, and the gym accrues additional costs.

Advanced reservations are available online, but not required.

The Haven by Jetquay: a place to freshen up or take a nap

Located in Terminal 1 in the Arrival Meeting Hall South, The Haven by Jetquay is the only passenger lounge in the public part of the airport.

In addition to offering a quiet place to read or work between flights, this lounge features 13 shower rooms with rain showerheads and 18 nap suites. Amenities include a variety of complimentary snacks and beverages, a business area, and complimentary Wi-Fi. There are also two private meeting rooms. Admission to The Haven by Jetquay for two hours is S$37.66 (USD 28.00) per person for check-ins between 10:00 a.m. and 10:00 p.m. and S$44.73 (USD 33.00) per person between 10:00 p.m. and 10:00 a.m. Priority Pass members receive free admission. There is an additional charge for using the shower rooms and the nap rooms. Advanced reservations are available online, but not required.

The Haven by Jetquay is open 24 hours.

Blossom Plaza Premium Lounge: manicures, tapas, and more

The Blossom Plaza Premium Lounge at Changi Airport is located in Terminal 4 on level 2M in the Transit Hall. This lounge offers an international buffet, a full bar, and a tapas bar, as well as a smoking room and an area where you can get a massage, pedicure or a manicure between flights.

Admission to this lounge is S$58.00 (USD 34.00) for adults and S$29.00 (USD 25.00) for those aged between two and six. Children younger than two are admitted free. Priority Pass members receive free admission. Advanced reservations are available online, but not required.

The Blossom Plaza Premium Lounge is open 24 hours a day.

DBS Treasures Lounge: a perk for top bank customers

Admission to the DBS Treasures Lounge at Changi Airport is available to DBS Bank Treasure cardholders with a Singapore Airlines or SilkAir boarding pass. The lounge, which is located inside of the security checkpoint in Terminal 2, features complimentary business services, food and drink options, Wi-Fi, and newspapers. The lounge also has shower facilities, a self-service banking kiosk and a beauty salon with spa services.

The DBS Treasures Lounge is open 24 hours a day.
