Don’t compromise on comfort when you travel.  These Hong Kong airport lounges provide a world of extraordinary amenities to help you recharge, relax, and catch up with work.

The Plaza Premium First Lounge Hong Kong – enjoy an elevated experience

This Hong Kong airport lounge is open 24 hours daily and conveniently located near Gate 1 at Terminal 1. Measuring about 8,700 square feet, the Plaza Premium First lounge hosts 250 guests across several spaces including an à la carte restaurant, a VIP meeting room, and a rest zone.

The lounge provides a relaxing ambiance using earthy tones and natural materials such as wood and stone. The centerpiece is the AeroBar, especially if you’re a  whiskey connoisseur, as the bar has more than 50 labels on offer, including exotic selections from India and Taiwan. This lounge is a separate entity to the other Plaza Premium Lounges at Hong Kong airport.

Pricing is time-staggered starting at HKD880.00 for three hours up to HKD1,180.00 for 10 hours.

Centurion Lounge Hong Kong – the first one in Asia

In 2017, American Express opened its first international Centurion Lounge at Hong Kong International Airport in Terminal 1, just before Gate 60.

It covers approximately 8,000 square feet and operates from 5:30 a.m. to 12:30 a.m. Like other Hong Kong airport lounges nearby, the space feels airy due to the terminal’s high ceiling.

The lounge offers a bar with custom cocktails created by renowned mixologist Jim Meehan. The private Centurion area features an a la carte menu designed by Michelin star decorated chef Lau Yiu Fai. The lounge offers a complimentary escape for Platinum Cards® and Centurion Members to refresh and reboot.

United Club Lounge Hong Kong – a small but cozy enclave

This balcony-style lounge is located just before Gate 61 in Terminal 1 and feels very private, with the seating areas separated by partitions. It overlooks the boarding gates, ramp, and runway which make it a great spot to sit back and watch planes taxiing, landing and taking off on the tarmac.

The self-serve buffet offers a good selection of cold and hot food and there’s even a “make your own noodle” station. Three of the four direct flights to the U.S. depart around lunchtime, which means the lounge could be a little packed mid-morning, before these flights.

The lounge is open to United Club and Star Alliance members daily from 6:00 a.m. to 11:59 p.m.

A full list of access eligibility can be found here. If space is available, access via a day pass is possible as well.

Royal Orchid Lounge Hong Kong – an experience smooth as silk

You can find the Royal Orchid Lounge Hong Kong in Terminal 1 near Gate 40, close to the United Club lounge Hong Kong and the Plaza Premium lounges. Freshen up and enjoy the shower area before you indulge in authentic Thai food such as Tom Kha Kai, a hot coconut soup with chicken, or a papaya salad.

This Hong Kong airport lounge saw its last facelift in 2011, when it introduced soothingly-colored sofas and the addition of delicious ice-creams to its menu, among other new services.

Access is open to passengers traveling in business or first class on Thai Airways or Star Alliance partner airlines and Star Alliance Gold members going in any class on the carriers above. The lounge is open from 6:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

SkyTeam Lounge Hong Kong – focused on your wellbeing

The global airline alliance SkyTeam began its Hong Kong airport lounge service in 2015. It is located in Terminal 1 close to Gate 15 and open daily from 5:30 a.m. to 1:00 a.m.

The SkyTeam lounge has been designed to offer a range of traditional, high-end amenities. Highlights are the yoga room and cooked-to-order cuisine. A “Living Wall”, a botanical feature comprising more than 50 different plant species, brings a touch of nature to your travel experience.

First and business class passengers and Elite Plus members flying on all 12 member airlines serving the airport can access the spacious facility of around 11,000 square feet.
