When it comes to providing high-quality airport lounges, the Plaza Premium Lounge network excels. The independent, award-winning lounge network is open to travelers of all airlines across a number of different airports.
At Kuala Lumpur Airport, there are four Plaza Premium Lounges on offer across both the klia2 Terminal and the Satellite Terminal.
The lounges all offer similar provisions to travelers, following the signature style of Plaza Premium Lounges. This includes a comfortable seating area with newspapers and magazines, a menu of made-to-order hot food, alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage options, complimentary Wi-Fi with charging ports for mobile devices, and a dedicated business center.
In addition to the lounges, there are also two Plaza Premium Wellness Spas, again at both the klia2 Terminal and the Satellite Terminal. These spas provide treatments and services from neck, shoulder, and back massages, to hair, nail, and beauty treatments. The Wellness Spas also offer a choice of eating and drinking options, free high-speed Wi-Fi, and entertainment from television to newspapers and magazines.

Sama-Sama Express Lounge – a modern lounge experience
The Sama-Sama Express Lounges at KLIA and klia2 provide 24-hour service to guests. These airport lounges are perfect for those on a long layover.
Both lounges include shower facilities with towels and amenities, refreshments of tea and coffee, a range of meals, and complimentary high-speed Wi-Fi.
For longer stays, there’s also the option of booking a private room within either of the lounges, as they are both connected to their own transit hotel. The Sama-Sama Express at klia2 can be found at International Departure Level 3. The Sama Sama Express KLIA is airside in the Main Terminal.
These Kuala Lumpur Airport lounges are open to guests who are flying via Malindo Air, otherwise, passes can be purchased for access to the lounges.
Cathay Pacific First and Business Class Lounge – quality time for all
An ideal place to spend some time before departure, the Cathay Pacific First and Business Class lounge serves light snacks, the chance to freshen up, and to catch up on work in the dedicated business center with computers, printers, and fax access.
Open three hours before departure times, the lounge can be found on the Mezzanine Level of the Satellite Building, and is open from 6.30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. daily.

Singapore Airlines SilverKris Lounge – feel at home
The SilverKris Lounge at Kuala Lumpur Airport demonstrates Singapore Airlines’ heritage, with a customized batik design screen in the welcome foyer.

Located in the Satellite Building on the Mezzanine Level, the lounge is open daily from 5.30 a.m. to 9:30 p.m. The Silver Kris Lounge is exclusively for guests flying via Singapore Airlines.
Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge – the gold standard
The largest of the Kuala Lumpur airport lounges, the Malaysia Airlines Golden Lounge Satellite was reopened in 2018 after a long renovation process. With a modern, sleek design, it features carefully zoned areas so those wishing to relax and unwind before a flight don’t disturb and aren’t disturbed by those who wish to work. You can enjoy a range of food and drink options that echo Malaysia’s culinary traditions.
The Golden Lounge Satellite boasts excellent views of the runway, as well as carefully curated art, a number of areas where you can charge your devices, as well as fast, free Wi-Fi.
There are three other Golden Lounges on offer at KLIA—the Platinum Lounge, reserved for first-class passengers in the Satellite Terminal, and the Regional Golden Lounge and Domestic Golden Lounge KLIA in the Main Terminal, both of which are open from 5 a.m. to midnight.
These lounges are exclusive to guests flying via Malaysia Airlines on Premium tickets, Enrich Platinum tickets, and Gold tickets. They are also open to guests flying via oneworld Emerald and Sapphire.

Focusing on Thai’s corporate identity, the Thai Airways Royal Silk Lounge is a reflection of the company’s image: a charming location with a flair for the elegant.
Located in the Satellite Terminal, you’ll find this lounge on the Mezzanine level, where it is open from 7 a.m. to last departure.
The lounge offers two VIP Rooms, an a la carte dining room, slumber rooms, shower suites, a first-class check-in facility, and wheelchair accessible toilets.
Guests must be flying out on a Thai Airways or another Star Alliance member flight to access the lounge.
