Our Driver of the Month for June is Raad in San Francisco, California, USA! Raad gave us some insight into his seaside city, and how he got to where he is today.
After working in many different fields, Raad found his calling as a chauffeur 11 years ago, after he moved from Palestine to The City by the Bay. He loves that he gets to meet new people and explore new places every day. You know what they say, find a job you love and you’ll never work a day in your life.
Raad recommends paying a visit to all the classic San Fran sightseeing spots (like the Golden Gate Bridge, Fisherman’s Wharf, Chinatown, and Union Square) but also to enjoy some of the further away, nature-focused attractions. He highlighted California’s famous wine country, Lake Tahoe, Yosemite National Park, and the small beach city of Carmel-by-the-Sea. The great thing about San Francisco’s location in Northern California is that you get everything the city offers within driving distance of the state’s most beautiful scenery, and moderate weather all year round.
San Francisco is also a great destination for business travel, as it is the home of Silicon Valley. If you’re interested in the technology of tomorrow, you’ve got to visit one of the world’s greatest hubs for start-ups.
With so many reasons to visit, it’s no surprise that the city has attracted a few famous faces, and sometimes they’re even closer than Raad realizes.
“The most interesting thing is that most of the time I drive famous people without knowing who they are! Singers, sportspeople, politicians…” said Raad.
No matter who he’s driving, Raad definitely treats all his customers like VIPs. Here’s what some of his passengers have had to say:
“Raad was amazing!! It was my first time getting a personal driver for my wife’s birthday so I didn’t really know what to expect or how everything was going to work but he made the experience phenomenal!”
“Professional, great sense of urgency, and friendly.”
Thanks for all the great work and for showing our passengers the definition of quality service. Congratulations Raad!
