Everything’s bigger in Texas, so the saying goes. So it’s only fitting that the award-winning Houston George Bush Airport covers over 100,000 square kilometers and is one of the state’s busiest airports for international transfers.

Thanks to its NASA connections, Houston is known as the Space City—making it fitting that the metropolis boasts an out-of-this-world air hub. Houston George Bush offers a wide range of scheduled flights to both domestic and international destinations, and while not as bustling as Dallas Fort Worth International Airport, it still welcomed a staggering 46.1 million passengers in 2023.

What’s more, the airport is set to break its own passenger records this year, as an increase in plane carrying capacity means seat numbers are expected to swell by up to 10%.

In addition to George Bush Intercontinental, Houston has another smaller airport, William P. Hobby Airport (HOU), which is closer to downtown, about 11 miles away.

With so many travelers to cater for, Houston George Bush offers an impressive variety of customer-focused features and facilities. We recommend you use this handy Houston George Bush Intercontinental map plus our convenient guide, to get the most out of your time in this amazing airport.

Be sure to check the schedule in advance to plan your trip accordingly.
